Mixed flow technology allows for the efficient movement of large volumes of air despite resistance from carbon filters and extended duct runs, making it ideal for various applications in ventilation systems.

The Mixed-flo fan, constructed with a durable plastic casing, includes a mixed flow impeller. Its Blauberg ball bearing motor, renowned for its reliability and performance, ensures a service life exceeding 40,000 hours of continuous operation. This longevity minimizes maintenance needs and reduces long-term costs. Additionally, the specially designed casing and impeller blades deliver higher pressure and greater air capacity compared to industry alternatives, enhancing overall system efficiency. The Mixed-flow impeller also ensures high air capacity while maintaining low noise levels, operating at just 36 dBa, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments.

For added convenience, the Mixed-flo fan is supplied with a 1.8m power cable and is fitted with either a UK or EU plug, catering to different regional requirements. This feature simplifies installation and immediate operation upon setup.

The fan is also energy-efficient, consuming only 33 watts of power, which helps in reducing energy bills while maintaining effective ventilation. Despite its low power consumption, it boasts an impressive air flow rate of 187 m¶ôǬ/hour, ensuring that even large spaces are adequately ventilated.

Installation and maintenance of the Mixed-flo fan are user-friendly due to its two convenient access clips. These clips not only facilitate easy removal and cleaning but also allow the fan to be reversed to supply air into your grow room or tent. This versatility makes it an excellent choice for maintaining optimal air quality and circulation in controlled environments such as greenhouses, indoor gardens, and hydroponic setups.

In terms of safety, the fan boasts a protection rating of IPX4, indicating its resistance to splashes of water from any direction. Additionally, it is equipped with overheating protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation even under continuous use.

Moreover, the Mixed-flo fan operates quietly, ensuring minimal disruption in noise-sensitive environments. Its robust design and efficient performance make it suitable for both residential and commercial use, providing reliable ventilation solutions for a wide range of applications.

Whether you need to extract stale air or supply fresh air, the Mixed-flo fan, powered by a Blauberg German Motor, offers a dependable, efficient, and quiet solution to meet your ventilation needs.

Inline Ducting Fume Extraction Fan

187 m3/h Air Flow 33w Power 56 dBa Noise Level

What is it for?

Moving air through a duct run - workshop fume extraction, general ventilation, grow room and filtered systems. It sits in line with the ducting rather than at a wall, so it can be mounted where it suits the run.

How much air does it move?

187 m3/h, drawing 33W, at 56 dBA. Those figures are for the fan on its own - a filter, a long run or a series of bends will reduce real airflow.

What is a mixed flow fan, and why does it matter?

Mixed flow sits between an axial and a centrifugal fan: it keeps moving useful volumes of air even against resistance from a carbon filter or a long duct run, where a plain axial fan would stall off. The casing and impeller are shaped to deliver higher pressure and capacity than typical alternatives.

How long will it last?

The Blauberg ball bearing motor is rated beyond 40,000 hours of continuous running. That is the part that usually fails on a cheap fan, and it is the reason this one costs what it does.

Is it noisy?

56 dBA, which is conversational level. The mixed flow impeller is the reason - it delivers the air capacity without the note a high-speed axial fan makes. Mounting it on soft feet or a strap rather than hard to a panel takes more out of the perceived noise than anything else.

How do I connect it to my ducting?

Slide the ducting over the spigot and secure it with a worm drive clip or a ducting clamp, one each side. Match the duct diameter to the fan spigot - necking down after a fan throttles it.
