What is this range for?
Fitting out van and campervan interiors. It covers four-way stretch lining carpet in five colours - anthracite, beige, black, silver and smoke - rubber matting in 3mm and 5mm in checker plate, circular stud and smooth finishes, high-temperature contact adhesives, and sample packs for both the carpet and the matting.

Why four-way stretch carpet rather than ordinary carpet?
Because a van interior is full of curves, recesses and compound shapes. Four-way stretch pulls into all of them without creasing or needing to be cut into patches, which is the difference between a professional-looking conversion and an obviously homemade one. It is the standard material for the job for good reason.

What adhesive do I need, and how much?
A high-temperature contact spray - we stock Ultra Adhesive and Trimfix, both 500ml. Ordinary spray adhesive fails in a vehicle interior, which gets very hot parked in summer. Coverage depends on the surface, but budget generously: a partly-bonded panel that lifts later means stripping and redoing it, which costs far more than another can.

How do I apply the carpet?
Work panel by panel. Cut generously oversize, spray both the panel and the back of the carpet, let both tack off until touch-dry, then bond from the centre outwards, stretching gently into recesses and around curves as you go. Trim once it is stuck. Ventilate well and mask anything you do not want overspray on.

Which matting should I choose for a van floor?
5mm for a working van that carries tools, stock or loads - it takes the abuse and deadens noise better. 3mm for a lighter-duty or camper application where weight and height matter. Checker plate and circular stud give grip and hide scuffs; smooth is easier to sweep and mop but shows marks more readily.

Can I get samples first?
Yes, and for a conversion it is worth doing. There is a four-way stretch campervan lining carpet sample pack covering all the colours and a rubber matting flooring sample pack covering the finishes and thicknesses. Colour and texture are genuinely hard to judge on screen, and these are bought by the roll.
