What is it?
A 1 tonne builders bulk bag with looped handles, for moving and storing heavy materials - building waste, rubble, sand, topsoil and small gravel.

What will it hold?
A safe working load of 1000kg, with a 5:1 safety factor. It measures 85 x 85 x 85cm, which is a manageable footprint on a drive or a site while still taking a proper load.

What does a 5:1 safety factor mean?
That the bag is built to take five times its 1000kg rated load before failure. It is a margin, not an invitation - load it to the safe working load, not to what you think it will survive.

How do I fill and lift it?
Open top for filling, so it loads quickly by hand or machine. Lift by all four loops evenly, keep the load level, and never stand or walk underneath a suspended bag.

Can I use it for waste collection?
Yes - it is a common alternative to a skip for rubble and garden waste. Check with your collection provider on what they will take and how they want it filled before you load it.

Is it reusable?
For light, dry materials, yes, provided the loops and seams are undamaged. Inspect it before every lift, and retire it as soon as you see fraying at the loops or UV damage in the fabric - that is where a bag fails.
