What do you supply for window cleaning?
High visibility fluorescent pole hose in 5mm, 6mm and 8mm rated to 20 bar; PVC reinforced hose in clear, blue, red and black; wire reinforced and layflat hose for ground runs and transfer; the full range of stainless hose clips, T-bolt clamps, mini clips and rubber-lined P-clips; clip drivers; and plastic reducing joiners.

What size pole hose should I use?
8mm gives better flow and less pressure drop over a long ground run; 6mm is lighter and easier to handle up the pole. Many operators run 8mm from the van to the base of the pole and 6mm up the pole itself, which keeps flow up without adding unnecessary weight to the working end. 5mm is available for lighter setups.

Why buy high visibility hose?
Safety and practicality. A hose across a pavement, drive or forecourt is a trip hazard, and dark or clear hose is easy to miss in low light or on wet tarmac. Fluorescent hose is visible to the public and to you, and it is far quicker to spot and pack up at the end of a job. Six colours also let you code hoses per van or operator.

What pressure will pole hose take?
20 bar working pressure over -10C to +65C, with a smooth non-toxic white PVC bore and triple polyester yarn reinforcement. That is well above what a typical water-fed pole pump delivers, so the hose is not working at its limit all day. Note that PVC stiffens in cold weather, which affects handling in winter.

How do I connect pole hose to my system?
Push it fully onto the barb or connector - warming the end in hot water helps - and secure with a stainless clip, or use the quick-release connectors most pole systems come with. Cut it square with a sharp blade so it seats evenly. Always secure both ends: a hose letting go under pressure on a customer's driveway is not a good look.

What lengths can I buy?
Cut to order from 1 metre up to a 100 metre full coil. A coil works out considerably better value per metre, and having spare on the reel means a damaged section can be cut out and rejoined rather than costing you a working day. Most operators keep at least one full coil in reserve.
