What is a hose kit?
A complete set of silicone hoses for one vehicle, made to the correct bores, lengths and bends so each piece drops straight in. Our kits include the BMW MINI Cooper S R53/R52 15-piece coolant set, Mazda MX5 MK1 15-piece coolant set, Ford Fiesta ST150 10-piece coolant set, Land Rover Defender 300TDI 8-piece coolant set, and the Ford Fiesta Zetec S 2-piece induction set.

Why buy a kit rather than individual hoses?
Cost and consistency. A kit works out cheaper than the same hoses bought separately, the colours match across every piece, and you are not left discovering a fortnight later that one hose you did not replace has failed. If you are draining the coolant anyway, doing the whole system at once is the sensible approach.

Do the kits include everything?
They include the silicone hoses for the system described - coolant or induction depending on the kit. Clips are offered as an option on some listings; where they are not included, we stock stainless worm drive clips in every matching size. Always renew clips with hoses rather than reusing tired ones.

How do I know a kit fits my car?
Match on model, engine and year or facelift - the listings specify them, and hoses often change mid-generation. If you are unsure, send us your registration or photos of the existing hoses with a tape measure alongside and we will confirm before you order.

What colours are available?
Blue, black and red across the standard silicone range. Because a kit is made as a set, the colour is consistent across every piece - which is a genuine advantage over buying hoses individually at different times, where batch shade differences can show in a visible engine bay.

Are they better than the original hoses?
Yes, on longevity and temperature. Original rubber coolant hose perishes, hardens and splits with age and heat cycling; silicone does not, and it handles far higher temperatures. On a car where several hoses are buried behind the engine, fitting silicone once is considerably cheaper than doing it again in five years.
