Silicone 90° Fuel & Oil Long Elbow Hose is a specialist high-performance hose designed for hydrocarbon transfer in automotive, marine, and industrial applications. Constructed with a smooth extruded flourosilicone inner layer, reinforced by strong polyester braids, and finished with a durable silicone outer layer, the hose offers outstanding resistance to fuels, oils, and vapours. The 90-degree bend with extended 300 mm legs ensures secure connections and easier routing in complex systems, reducing the need for additional joints or couplers. With a wide temperature range from -50°C up to +250°C, this multi-ply elbow conforms to SAE J30 R6 standards, ensuring consistent reliability in demanding environments such as high-temperature engine bays, heavy-duty machinery, and marine systems. Available in sizes from 6.5 mm to 76 mm internal diameter, the hose provides versatility across multiple industries where angled fuel and oil connections are required.

Key Features:

  • Inner Layer: Smooth extruded flourosilicone compound for fuel and oil resistance.

  • Reinforcement: Polyester braids for durability and pressure stability.

  • Outer Layer: High-grade silicone for thermal, ozone, and abrasion resistance.

  • Construction: 3–4 ply with 300 mm extended leg lengths for flexible installation.

  • Operating Temperature: -50°C to +250°C (peak +250°C).

  • Internal Diameter Range: 6.5 mm to 76 mm.

  • Working Pressure: Up to 12.33 bar (small bore) down to 2.8 bar (large bore).

  • Bursting Pressure: Approximately 3x working pressure (up to 37 bar).

  • Bend Angle: 90° with 300 mm extended legs for secure fitment.

  • Standard: SAE J30 R6 compliant.

The flouro silicone inner lining ensures compatibility with fuels, oils, and aggressive hydrocarbons, making the hose suitable where conventional silicone may deteriorate. Polyester braid reinforcement delivers structural strength and pressure tolerance, while the multi-ply build provides durability under vibration and thermal cycling. The thick silicone outer layer enhances resistance against ozone, weathering, and heat exposure, ensuring long service life even in continuous high-stress environments. Extended 300 mm legs on each side of the elbow make installation flexible and secure, reducing risk of leakage and improving routing efficiency. Working pressures from 12.33 bar in smaller bores to 2.8 bar in larger diameters, combined with burst ratings up to 37 bar, provide strong safety margins for industrial and performance applications.

Applications include automotive fuel and oil routing, turbo oil return systems, marine fuel lines, industrial hydrocarbon transfer, motorsport fuel and lubrication setups, and agricultural machinery. The silicone 90° fuel and oil long elbow hose is widely used in custom engineering projects requiring durable, chemically resistant, and heat-tolerant angled hose connections. Keywords: silicone 90-degree elbow hose, long leg silicone fuel elbow, flouro silicone reinforced elbow, high-temperature fuel and oil hose, SAE J30 R6 compliant elbow, industrial fuel transfer hose.

How to measure ID

ID OD wall reinforcement plies ID = bore · OD = ID + (2 × wall)
1
Measure the pipe, not the old hose
Heat and age make a used hose swell and go out of round. Take your reading across the metal outlet the hose slides onto — that measurement is your ID.
2
Use vernier calipers
Set the outer jaws across the widest point of the pipe. A tape measure round a curve reads low by a millimetre or two — enough to buy the wrong size.
3
Take three readings, keep the largest
Rotate 60° between each. If they disagree the pipe is oval; size to the biggest figure so the hose still seals.
4
Round to the nearest listed bore
Silicone stretches slightly. If you land between sizes, go down to the smaller bore for a tight seal — never up.
Order by ID, always. Every hose on this site is listed by internal diameter. OD is given for clearance only — it changes with wall thickness and ply count, so it is never the ordering size. On reducers, quote both ends, largest first.

90 Degree Fuel & Oil Silicone Long Leg Elbow

✅ 300mm Leg ✅ 600mm Long ✅ 3 & 4 Ply

What size do I order?

Order by internal diameter, matched to the outside diameter of the metal pipe or stub the elbow slides onto. Measure the pipe itself with vernier callipers, not the hose you are replacing - hose stretches in service and reads a size large. Available in internal diameters from 13mm to 76mm, in black.

How long are the legs?

300mm on each side, giving 600mm total length. That leaves plenty of material to trim back to the length you need. If you cut them down, leave at least 25-30mm of straight leg beyond the bend so the clip seats on a supported section - never let a clip end up sitting on the curve, because it will not seal evenly there.

What temperature and pressure will it take?

Continuous service from -60C to +180C, built to SAE J30 R6. Working pressure runs from 12.33 bar on the smallest bore down to 2.8 bar on the largest, with burst pressure from 37 bar down to 8.5 bar across the 6.5mm to 102mm range. For context, a car cooling system typically runs at 1 to 1.5 bar and well under 120C, so there is a substantial margin.

How is it constructed, and how many plies?

A fluorosilicone inner lining for hydrocarbon resistance, polyester braid reinforcement, and a durable silicone outer layer that resists heat, ozone and abrasion. Smaller bores are 3 ply and larger bores step up to 4 ply - each size is built with the reinforcement it needs, so you do not have to specify it. Wall thickness runs from 4.5mm to 5.5mm depending on bore.

Is it compatible with E5 and E10 petrol?

Yes - the fluorosilicone liner handles modern ethanol-blended petrol, diesel, oils and fuel vapour. That matters because ethanol attacks unsuitable hose from the inside, so an older line can look perfect externally while degrading internally and shedding material into the fuel system.

What is the bend radius?

Bend radius runs from 16mm on the smallest bore to 70mm on the largest. That is the radius the elbow is moulded to, so the bore stays fully round through the bend and flow is not restricted - which is exactly why a moulded elbow beats bending a straight hose round the same corner.
