Silicone hose and high-temperature air ducting, PVC reinforced and wire reinforced hose for suction and delivery, polyurethane ducting for abrasive dust, rubber coupling joiners, aluminium and stainless hard pipe, elbows, T-pieces and joiners, plastic barbed fittings, gas regulators, hose clips and clamps, pipe cutters and high-temperature adhesives.

Four questions, in order: what is the medium, what temperature, what pressure or vacuum, and is anything abrasive passing through. Medium rules out materials - hydrocarbons kill standard silicone and EPDM. Temperature narrows it further. Vacuum means you need a wire helix. Abrasion means polyurethane over PVC. Tell us those four and we will specify it.

Anything with a wire helix in the wall - our PVC wire reinforced hose at 3-12 bar, the PVC corrugated reinforced hose, silicone SuperFlex wire reinforced, polyurethane ducting and silicone air ducting. Braided and layflat hoses are delivery only and will collapse under negative pressure. This is the single most common specification mistake.

Silicone air ducting is the top of the range at -70C to +310C, two layers of silicone-coated glass fibre with a steel helix. Aluminium semi-flexible covers -30C to +150C. Polyurethane runs to +90C and PVC to +65C. If the duct is anywhere near hot process air or exhaust, only the silicone or aluminium options are realistic.

Yes - hose is available in full coils as well as cut lengths, clips and clamps come in 10 and 100 packs and assorted boxes, and there are off-cut mixed boxes for short pieces. If you buy regularly or are fitting out a facility, get in touch about a trade account rather than ordering piecemeal.
