What is Pro Surface?
Pro Surface is our flooring and interior trim side - four-way stretch van lining carpet in five colours, rubber matting in 3mm and 5mm with checker plate, circular stud and smooth finishes, quilted faux leather double stitch diamond fabric in eight colours, scrim foam backed faux leather, and the high-temperature adhesives to bond it all.

What is four-way stretch lining carpet for?
Lining van and campervan interiors - walls, ceilings, panels, wheel arches, bulkheads and furniture. The four-way stretch is what lets it pull round curves and into recesses without creasing or being cut into patches, which is the difference between a professional-looking conversion and an obviously homemade one.

What adhesive do I need?
A high-temperature contact spray - we stock Ultra Adhesive and Trimfix, both 500ml. Ordinary spray adhesive fails in a vehicle interior, which gets very hot parked in summer sun. Spray both surfaces, let them tack off until touch-dry, then bond from the centre outwards.

Which rubber matting should I choose?
5mm for a working van or workshop that carries tools and loads - it takes the abuse and deadens noise better. 3mm for lighter duty where weight and height matter. Checker plate and circular stud give grip and hide scuffs; smooth is easier to sweep and mop but shows marks more readily.

What is the scrim foam backed faux leather for?
Trim panels and seating where you want a padded feel without building up separate foam. The foam and scrim backing is bonded to the reverse, so it upholsters smoothly over a panel and forgives minor surface imperfections underneath. It is the practical choice for door cards and headboards.

Can I get samples first?
Yes, and for any job of size it is worth it - there is a four-way stretch campervan lining carpet sample pack covering the colour range and a rubber matting flooring sample pack covering the finishes and thicknesses. Colour and texture are hard to judge on screen and these are bought by the roll.
